Terms and conditions of the training
All candidates have to apply for the participation in the Advanced European Media Training project in accordance with the terms of the relevant call for interest. The training programme is open to beginner journalists and media operators or journalism students aged between 22 and 35. They take part in the selections, which consist in an interview with a commission appointed by the organisers. They are shortlisted both in consideration of their performance at the interviews and the evaluation of the documentation supplied, as requested in the relevant call.
A contract is signed between the selected participants and the organisers. The contract lays down the rights and duties of the successful candidates, as well as the obligations and responsibilities of the organisers.
Participants are required to take part in all project activities, both in their home country and in Italy. Each participant is allowed not to attend teaching activities for a maximum of 10 hours. He/she is required to give early notice and/or justification of their absence to the representative of the organisers. Absence due to illness, hospitalisation, death of a close relative and similar are automatically justified, after due evaluation by the organisers. Participants absenting themselves from more than one training session shall be expelled from the project.
Successful candidates will receive free accommodation and attend all sessions in their home country and Italy. Organisers also provide all course materials and equipment necessary to carry out all project-related activities.
At the end of the training course participants who have attended all training sessions as stated above will receive a course certificate.

Jurisdiction and applicable law
Any dispute arising from this legal notice shall be brought before the courts of Trieste and shall be governed by and analysed according to Italian legislation, irrespective of the rules on conflict on laws. The use of www.aemtproject.org website implies your express agreement with the application of this jurisdiction clause. In the event of one of the provisions of this legal notice being judged illegal, null and void or inapplicable for whatever reason, it shall be considered as no longer forming part of this legal notice and shall not affect the validity or application of the other provisions.
